The UAB offers scholarships to students with outstanding academic backgrounds ranging from $ 2,000 to full study enrollment. To be considered for the University of Alabama at Birmingham Scholarships, applicants must first enroll as freshers and apply before December 1st. The actual amount of money received depends on the exam results and the applicant’s grade point average. Students who have at least a 3.5 GPA and score between 30 and 36 in their ACT exam can be considered for the Presidential Recognition Award, which fully grants the UAB and covers tuition. Students who earn between 24 and 26 points in the ACT and have at least a 3.0 GPA can earn $ 3,000 through the UAB Breakthrough Grant to increase their tuition. Mary Elizabeth Adams Grant:
The University of Alabama at Birmingham Scholarship award is open to students from Alabama who say they have type 1 diabetes. Applicants for the EUB Early Medical School Acceptance program who wish to obtain a bachelor’s degree are preferred, but any student can apply. Students should be able to demonstrate that they have a high level of responsibility, community service, academic readiness, and financial needs. Music scholarships are available to students who want to major in music, as well as students who declare non-music majors. The full list of available music scholarships can be found here. For example, the Myrtle Jones Steele Piano Grant offers a student who plans to study piano at a cost of $ 1,500. The Dean scholarship offers two different prizes, each worth $ 1,000.
